Brain Gym
Brain Gym is an adventure-based, experiential learning program that introduces and develops 21st century thinking skills for younger students. Our systematic problem solving sequence promotes positive social, intellectual, and emotional growth and is based on the Search Institute’s 40 developmental assets. Using fun, problem-based activities, students will learn to communicate effectively and think critically, identify and set goals, collaborate and work as a team with peers, understand the impact of self and on others, and recover from failure appropriately. These activities help reinforce character development skills that are applicable in real life situations. This workshop supports the Common Core State Standards by asking open-ended questions that encourages students to reflect, learn, and personalize their experience.
